Cynthia is a true miracle and an inspiration. She suffered a traumatic brain injury at the age of 6, and now, at 50, she continues to amaze us with her strength and creativity. She also lives with bipolar depression and schizophrenia, and while she is semi-ambulatory, she finds joy and calm through her art. Though she cannot work due to her disabilities, jewelry making allows her to express herself and connect with others. With the support of her caretaker, she spends her days creating, shopping, and enjoying life’s little adventures.
